What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file the site leaves with your browser so it can recognise the same visit, or the same visitor, later. Ours are first-party only: set by eustatiu.com, read by eustatiu.com, and nobody else.

What is always on
Only what the site needs to do what you ask of it. These work without asking, because the site cannot work without them, and none of them follows you to any other site.

Analytics, only with your yes
If you say yes, our own analytics notes which pages get read, how far, for how long, where a visit came from, and what kind of device read it, including details of the browser and screen. We built the tool ourselves and it runs on our own address. Nothing is sold, nothing goes to advertisers, and there is no Google Analytics here.
Until you say yes, none of it loads: no analytics script runs, nothing below is stored, and nothing is sent. If you say yes and later no, we delete what it stored in your browser.

Other companies
No other company sets cookies here. Two pages fetch code from a public library server, which sees your IP address as any website you visit would: the voice demo on the agents page loads ElevenLabs’ widget from unpkg.com, and only when you press its button; the blog’s diagrams load from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. We run no advertising cookies; if that ever changes, this page changes first and you will be asked again.

Keeping and your rights
The count is kept for up to two years, then thinned to plain totals. Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, withdraw consent at any time, or complain to ANSPDCP. One email to contact@eustatiu.com does any of these.
